7 Year Energy Cycles of the Human Body

A long long time ago a king had a dream about how his country was going to have 7 years of plenty followed by 7 years of famine.

Joseph, the man who interpreted his dream proceeded to manage the resources of the country through 7 years of plenty and then to prosperity unheard of before through the 7 years of famine, selling stored up grain to the surrounding regions which had not saved up food, making the country a super power.

Knowing the times of our body, help us manage our energy and resources and prosper like never before.

The human body goes through 7 year cycles too, except it’s actually a 14 year cycle, because there are 7 years during which the body focuses on storing energy and 7 during which the body focuses on using that stored energy to express dna.

When we’re just born to when we’re 7, a lot of our nutrition and life experience and energy is stored up, some of which will last our entire lifetime. Between 7 and 14, a lot of that stored up energy is used to express what is in our dna and create the adult us. It’s more than just growing bones and gaining height and weight – that sort of expression of dna is happening all the time. This is about hormones, about the shape of us, our fine features, our personality and so on.

During the 7 years when our system focuses on building up stores, we would do well to understand and support ourselves in that.

During the 7 years when our system is expending energy, expressing dna in so many ways, we would do well to go with the flow and support that.

I know this is all rather vague, but if you will just run with the idea of the 7 year phases, find out which one you’re in, and just start supporting yourself in either building up or expressing energy, you’ll find a whole lot of confusing decisions become a lot simpler and the quality of life increases significantly.

Here are the 7 year phases so you can see which one you’re in before you continue reading.

I’m just stopping at 106 because if you’re there you already know how to take care of your self.

My great great grandad John Waltham, who taught me about the 7 year cycles lived way way WAY past all the limits. His hair went silver at the roots at some point as did his beard, but the rest of his hair which he wore long, stayed a lovely pale golden. He used to tuck it into his shirt because if he let it out people would turn and stare.

He was the strongest man I ever met till the end and most people thought he was in his 50s or 60s all his life – which like I said, broke the limits. He lived to see his great great grand daughter turn 25 – which is a very big achievement and proof that he really knew what he was talking about.

Here’s a pic of him on Valentine’s Day, 2005, the last time I met him in person.

John Waltham
My amazing great great grandfather John Waltham.

Tough as nails, gentle as a cloud – made me choke with pride. It didn’t matter what his age was, when he walked in the room in his good old Scottish boots, each foot firmly in its step, everything and everyone else paled in comparison.

Let’s get back to the 7 year cycles.

I’m telling it to you just the way John Waltham said it to me –

7 years of breathing in, 7 years of breathing out.

In the breathing in years, you make sure you get all the sleep, good fat food, nutrition your body demands. You rest first. That’s the priority.

In the breathing out years, you detoxify, you clean up, you throw out, you cut out all unnecessary meaningless things from your life. You bring everything down to one or two priorities and you focus focus focus on them every single day. This is the main thing, because in the breathing out years, the body is expressing dna that could last your whole life time, you don’t want to clog up the process wasting energy on useless things like watching tv program you don’t really care for anyone, or eating things you don’t really like anyway. You clean out your lifestyle and your habits and just allow your body and soul to do what’s really important.

So it’s really simple – breathing in years – rest, even when working, rest; breathing out years – Cut out all junk so the system can do its thing.

That’s it.

As you keep this in the back of your mind, and go about your life, ideas will pop into head every now and then and you’ll realize, “Oh, if I just do this this way, it’ll be in harmony with my breathing in (or breathing out) stage of life.”

And then little by little the little changes gather up and result in big changes and then everything changes.
