This treatment evolved out of treating shock. Vaccination is first a shock to the nervous system and then a manipulation of the cat’s own immune system’s processes. This herbal treatment aims to minimize the shock and then support the cat in finding their own immune balance again.
The usual ingredients in this herbal treatment are:
Blue Flag, Parsley, Wheatgrass, Celandine, Cactus, Hawthorn, Oats, Passionflower, Comfrey, with tiny doses of Lily of the Valley, St.Ignatius Bean, homeopathic dilutions of Radium Bromide and Uranium Nitrate and Bach Flower Rescue Remedy
Our first aim is recovery of the nervous system and the vibration of the body from the shock. For this I use:
Oats, a calming nourishing grass. It not only calms the nervous system, it calms the organs which might are all in ’emergency mode’ as the body believes it is under severe attack. Oats says to the body, “It’s over now. We can recover now. Here’s some basic food for right now.”
Passionflower is a lovely soothing ‘connecting up’ vine or climber. In the aftermath of the chemical and vibratory shock that vaccination is, the body’s connective mechanisms like blood and nerves tend to get all messed up because of the shift in nervous frequency and heart rate. The connections between organs need to be supported, and the climbing plants like Passionflower are always good to build back connection. (Remember that – Vines or Climbers build back broken or stressed connections.) Passionflower de-stresses and supports rest and sleep. Waking rest and sleep are important for recovery from vaccination’s side effects.
Comfrey is full-system comforter and gentle pain reliever. In the aftermath of vaccination there’s often a sort of body ache that feels like it’s from the bones, almost like it’s an inflammation. This pain is relieved by Comfrey and so any fever usually comes down very quickly after this treatment. Comfrey here is also a conditioner of the digestive system, lessening any vomiting and nausea.
Cactus works to support the heart after the shock by stabilizing nervous rhythm. It is very important in this mix as the sooner we get the body back to its normal nervous frequency, the better. Every day the cat is in the vaccine fueled hyper state the chances of lasting effects increases. The heart needs to be comforted and heart rate stabilized.
Hawthorn here supports the heart and circulation. It offers vital energy the body can work with quickly to recover from the effects of shock. In the days and weeks after vaccination the heart and circulation need to work well to process the by-products of the metabolic processes vaccination stimulates, to throw out what’s not required and keep what’s required. Hawthorn is vital support for that.
Parsley is good solid simple brain energy support. It’s good for the whole body of course. But especially when there are toxins in the nervous system Parsley’s got the nutrition that cleans up while energizing in the brain almost like glucose. Metallic poisons that are the result of vaccination debris in the body are cleaned out by parsley.
Blue Flag (Iris Versicolor) is a powerful glandular and liver support herb. We only need a little of it here, for a very very important job. In the moment it helps with vomiting and nausea, but over the weeks as your cat has it in little doses, it helps the glands of the body, the parts that make hormones in the body to self-clean and return to normal function. Vaccination’s lasting effects are often of the low-lying hormonal disturbance kind, showing up months and years later. Most of these effects are overshadowed by the more dramatic side-effects of vaccination like chronic infection because of fallen immunity. In reality, treating the glands to comfort them and clean them will eliminate these long term effects so Blue Flag is a very valuable indispensable ingredient in this herbal treatment.
Wheatgrass and Celandine are for the liver. The poor liver has got to deal not just with a whole of chemicals but the body’s own hormonal secretions in reaction to those. It’s a whole lot of extra work all of a sudden. The debris of the whole battleground the body is, after an invasion like vaccination, has to be processed and sorted out by the liver. It’s like having to sift through a whole truck load of garbage to find the handful of real nutrients needed for every day life mixed in there, and throw out the rest. It’s a huge job.
The liver needs all the support it can get, and no extra work – which means very simple home cooked food.
I add tiny doses of Lily of the Valley and St. Ignatius Bean. Both are poisonous in large doses, but in tiny little doses support the little nerve endings in the heart and around the organs. These little nerve endings go into shock and report pain for long after because it takes weeks before help reaches all the way to them. Lily of the Valley and St.Ignatius Bean work like a announcement on the intercom of the nervous system – the frequency telecast – ‘Attention everyone. All nerve endings relax. Help is on its way.’ This relieves a whole lot of burning, pain and deep ache in the organs, makes them functional again, and makes overall return to normal so much easier. They are especially helpful for those who were not in the best of health before the vaccination.
I also add homeopathic dilutions of Radium Bromide and Uranium Nitrate. The jury is still out on whether these ARE in vaccinations or not. That they are found in body after x-rays and radiation based therapy is known. Either way they are poisons that are part of modern life with much of our food going through irradiation processes. While we’re supporting the body in recovering from the shock vaccination delivers, we might as well go all the way and support it in dealing with these toxic substances, just in case.
We have found through experimentation, that in some cats the homeopathic dilutions of Radium Bromide and Uranium Nitrate – stimulate a response in the body that brings down the nausea, ‘cloudy’ feeling in the head, and helps eliminate nervous system toxins through urine more robustly. The smell of the urine changes in about 15 minutes after taking it – very few other medicines could stimulate the throwing out of toxins that well. The nerve weakness and pain in the fingers, the lessened coordination of limb movement all improve, saliva production in the mouth normalizes and the general taste in the mouth becomes better.
In other cats there seems to be no effect, perhaps they don’t need it, perhaps the effect was too subtle for us to notice. There’s no harm done anyway as with homeopathic dilutions the body can choose if it wants to notice it or not. The substance itself is so diluted it cannot really get the way of any other healing process in the body.
Bach Flower Rescue Remedy is the combination of the energies of 5 flowers that comfort the body by the influence of their presence. The 5 flowers are:
Star of Bethlehem, Rock Rose, Cherry Plum, Impatiens, Clematis
Please note – These are just the usual herbs for this condition. I do not have bottles sitting on shelves with this recipe. I prepare each treatment from scratch for each individual for that time, according to the season and using seasonal and freshly made herbal extracts where I can. I also often split the treatment into 2 or 3 for specific times of day.
